Lisa Garrison knew she was born to be an artist but didn’t pick up a paintbrush until she was 23. However, after finding a brilliant watercolor teacher at a Hobby Lobby in Illinois, she confirmed her true calling and has never looked back.
For Lisa, inspiration is anywhere connections are formed. Cooking in the kitchen her children, the toppled over laughter of wine with friends, the magic of a moonlit cocktail on a first date. The memories we replay in our mind are captured in the enchanting transparency of watercolor.
Lisa’s work has been recognized in many juried group exhibitions and has won awards for its excellence. She also teaches out of her studio in the RiNo Art District in Denver, Colorado.
